Due to the phenomenal success of our martial arts classes, we are pleased to continue to offer Hapkido classes to children at Berrymede Infant School, details of which are attached.

This term the classes will run from Tuesday 15th January 2013 to Tuesday 26th March 2013. Please note new students, (for pupils that not did attend the course ending December 2012) are required to pay a one off registration fee of £15.00.  New enrolments will be charged an induction fee of £35.00 for this course which will run for 10 weeks. (Please note this does not include any gradings which must be paid for separately).

Master Daeman Sung’s aim is to ‘train and teach Hapkido techniques to Berrymede pupils, allowing them to be fully black belt professionals’.  Master Sung is confident Hapkido will prove beneficial for your child and wishes to assure you that this Martial Art is suitable for all ages.

MASTER DAEMAN SUNG (7TH DAN MASTER) AND HIS TEAM OF INSTRUCTORS ARE FULLY QUALIFIED BLACK BELT, LICENSED AND INSURED TRAINERS.

“Hapkido is a uniquely comprehensive ancient Korean art that is gaining a huge following around the world as an incredibly practical self-defence system. This is because Hapkido techniques do not require strength in conflict situations, they allow the defender to gain complete control with minimal effort and without aggression or injuries to the attacker. The art of Hapkido has the most varied types of techniques and offers extensive training in many disciplines, including correct breathing techniques, kicking techniques, pressure points, joint-locking, submissions, throwing techniques, weaponry and falling techniques that are vital for self-protection in real-life situations”.

Please note the classes will be run in a professional capacity with a zero tolerance approach to pupils who do not show the commitment and discipline required by Master Sung and his team.  We therefore request that careful consideration is made before applying for classes.
